The way of the empty hand
The way of the empty hand
The way of the empty hand or KARATE-DO is a cinematic documentary trip to the side of traditional martial art, interlaced with sport, not known to most of the people. In some period karate got a negative connotation. At the same time, it never received a lot of media attention as a sport discipline. Most of the practitioners are true enthusiasts, expecting nothing materialistic but personal satisfaction and growth. For them, karate-do represents way of life, personal and physical growth. Who does not understand that, has no place in this martial art. A group of people, following Sensei Ivan Ceric, who has been practicing karate for 40 years, represents this view. The words of karateka unfold the meaning, the goal and the fascination of this traditional art.
