Movie KRAMBERGER & URAN DESIGN

SKY TOO HIGH, SOIL TOO HARD
a documentary, 73 minutes, HDV, Kramberger & Uran independent production

The film is a confession of four young people from eastern Bosnia, who survived the Srebrenica genocide. Now, as students, they try to find sense and purpose in their lives. Their confessions take us all the way back to their childhood, most of which they spent in besieged Srebrenica. Their memories refer to moments that may seem trivial (searching for food, waiting for help, visiting school, playing...) if viewed outside the context of the time in which they occurred. Through every day's struggle for survival, we see, on one hand, the tragedy of ordinary people; and on the other, the inertness and unwillingness of Europe and rest of the World, to deal with the desperate situation.
